1 Point Perspective Room Project

The 7th Graders did a great job with these perspective projects.  The projects were quite involved.  Believe it or not, you are looking at 3 projects in 1!

Directions:

First, we blended acrylics on a sheet of watercolor paper to give a ☀sunset effect.
The video below was a big help.

Next, the kids drew a one point perspective with a šŸ™¾ checkerboard šŸ™æ using markers.
The video below was a big help.

The kids trimmed off one edge of the one point perspective.
The kids drew windows.
The kids cut out the windows.
Then, they glued the šŸ™¾ checkerboard šŸ™æ perspective to the acrylic blended ☀sunset project above.
The kids added magazine cutouts and glued to the one point perspective artwork to give the project a surreal look.

Have a LšŸ‘€K:

Here is "Waterloo Sunset" by the Kinks.  I think it kind of has a surreal feel.
