Forgotten disco balls? Well, awhile back my 4th Grade made a paper with grid lines using a T-square. In the midst of art teacher life, I forgot about the projects. I had placed them in a strange place (many strange places in my room). Recently, I found them and the following project evolved.
Directions:
The kids used oil pastels.
They drew a circle on the grid with a bowl.
They used oil pastels to fill in the space.
The art activity took 1 class period.
Kids took ownership and did their own thing.
I like.
It was a easy project to do the week before spring break.
