LeMoyne Chain of Parks Arts Festival with Ken Pease

To kick of  LeMoyne's Chain of Parks Arts Festival, Ken Pease is paying a guest visit to Maclay. He will be working with our students and discussing his style of art! We will do another blog on that later. For a previous post on Ken, click here. Ken is a folk artist who is inspired by stories.  The rich stories found in music and the musicians who pour their souls out for us, and the stories inspired by the creative minds of children.  He paints Blues Folks, Happy Little Monsters, Furry Angels, Blues Hounds and a variety of characters on re-purposed cabinet doors and wood scraps.  His work can be found in private collections around the world, and at galleries around the country including the Artistic Hand.
