4.3.2.1....mom's day!.....let picasso help...

by karen #1965 third grade teacher i am a teacher and i teach kids that have mamas...so we had to have a mother's day gift...what would mom's day 2010 be without a little kid's art for mom?...and i tell you what drives me crazy...i hate projects that end up in the bottom of the wrapping paper closet...or the pile of stuff that goes to goodwill...or the big plastic bag made by glad...so...i drew a version of "hands with bouquet" by pablo picasso...remember?...
and i had the kids draw flowers with oil pastels...then, they sponged light blue...and added a little paint...and put it in the frame from IKEA...and waalaa!...mama has a present...that looks good...and is small...check it out....
well...i guess you could say...it is not a picasso...
or is it?..
i bet the mamas will think it is...

Amanita is the name
The flowers cover everything
The flowers cover everything

There`s something here I find hard to ignore
There`s something that I've never seen before
Amanita is the name they cover over everything
